Who would have thought....

Ok so James has been saying for days that he needed to mow the grass...Emilee said that she was going to help daddy mow...I didn't really think that she would...I picked her up from school and told her daddy was going to mow the grass. She instantly skipped the playground and said we had to come straight home so she could help. Not too far into it she needed a break...(don't worry mom, she sat that close to the road for less than a minute..just long enough for me to get the picture)

Once James came back toward her she got up and was ready to help again. Only my baby would point her toes while mowing!!!

She wanted to try and do it herself so James let her, but she didn't get far.

Here she is all done and posing for the camera. Thanks Papa and Nana for the new shades... Who would have thought that my child would WANT to help to mow the grass. enjoy..

Emilee and Cutter Easter 2009

So who says Cutter is BABY...he plays like a big boy!!! Emilee was sitting on the floor and Cutter rushed her and tackeled her like a college lineman!! Emilee loved playing rough with Cutter! She doesn't have too many kids she can rough house with.

They wrestled like this for a while. She had so much fun with him. She loves Cutter especially when he plays rough with her.

We also decided to add to our Easter weekend by making some cookies. James and Emilee had so much fun.

Here is their finished product. They were so good!! We thought we had enough room for all of them, but they ended up being way bigger than they started.

Start of the Easter weekend

We started off the Easter weekend by painting GG and Papa a ceramic egg. Emilee loves to paint so naturally ceramic eggs were a great idea. She had so much fun. I must say it was a great idea to have stuff to paint.

Here is the finished product. She is an amazing artist. She used every color she could.

We had so much fun on Easter weekend! Amanda and Kristie came down and brought my two favorite kiddos! Kristie the photog that she is got some great shots!

Even Blayne got in the picture taking mood. He is so adorable with his little bald head. He is getting so big so fast. Of course he didn't really get to hunt for eggs, but he did his best with some help from his FAVORITE women in the whole world.

Of course Cutter always loves taking pictures. He's a regular little GQ man!!!

Emilee and Abbey had so much fun. I was surprised to actually get a good picture of both of them. Emilee was so excited to have her cousins here on Easter. She counted down the "sleepies" till they all got here. There will be more pics to come from my dad's house. Stay tuned...

Emilee's first REAL haircut

Ok, so this afternoon when James and I picked up Emilee from school her hair looked like it hadn't been brushed in a week. I was so sick of seeing it stringy and tangled. James had to get a haircut so we decided to get Emilee one too.

I wanted to get it cut short with it slightly stacked! I was going to take her to Ashlynn the girl that does mine, but of course it's Monday so they were closed. I couldn't take one more day with it. So she got her first real haircut.

She's had her hair cut before obviously, but i've always just got a trim here and there. I've never gotten her a true styled hair cut. I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love it. It looks fab. If you thought she was sassy before she definitly is now!!!

She loves it and she wanted to pose pose pose for the camera. It took me 20 min just to get a few pics of just her hair. To get her to look away from the camera was a real hassle.

My little girl is growing up so fast!!! She looks like such a little girl instead of a baby or even a toddler!! I hope you enjoy all the pics!!

A NEW EDITION

No I didn't have my baby...my sister, Kristie, just found out that she's having a baby GIRL!!!! I'm so excited to have a new niece!! Her due date is currently Aug. 10th just 2 months after me! My mom says she's gonna go broke!! :) Kristie has a little boy, Cutter, I know he's gonna be a great big brother! Kristie is so excited to be having a little girl! Emilee is so excited! When i told her the baby in aunt Kristie's belly was a girl she said and I quote "i thought she was having a brother for cutter" I explained that it's a 50/50 chance! I'm sure she still doesn't understand!
